Andrea Diep
As a student at Federal Way High School, Andrea is already Paying It Forward in our community. Her service to our community is extensive. She has been heavily involved in Key Club who helps at various events throughout the city and also collects canned food for the school's Eagle Pantry. She recently helped Reach Out by organizing a group to clean the totes and mats used by the clients at the shelters.
Andrea serves as a Lieutenant Governor for Division 33 of the Pacific Northwest District of Key Club International for Federal and Auburn. She is part of the Advancing Leadership Youth 2015 class and involved with organizing the "Co-Op with the Cops" event bringing the community and police force together to better understand each other.
For the past 2 years she has served as a co-chair on the Make the Dash Count youth board. With other high schools students from around South Puget Sound they look for local non-profits to give a grant to each year. They search, interview and visit each of the non-profits and go through a selection process as a board. Andrea has already made a difference in the lives of many people in and around Federal Way, and we expect her leadership skills and compassion to help her become a future leader in Federal Way.

Hope Elder
For more than 20 years Hope has been Paying It Forward in our community. Her work with the Federal Way Community Care Giving Network and organizing the Monday Night Community Suppers for the last 14 years are just two examples of the selfless work she does. Often helping many of the same people Reach Out serves in addition to numerous families with children.
Last spring, Hope and some friends made and delivered 800 Easter baskets to the Multi-Service Center, for children whose families might not be able to afford the gifts this spring is just one example of the kind of work she does for our community. This was the 7th or 8th Easter she has worked on this project and provided great joy for many families in our neighborhood..
She gets great satisfaction helping others and enjoys connecting with the giving community here in Federal way. She has served on our city council and was the Deputy Mayor. Currently she serves on the Planning commission because of her concern for property owners.
Hope worries about our neighbors who are in need and participates in many events and activities to give them help with basic necessities and with hope.
