For many years I directed the Youth Tutoring Program (YTP). Although I left in 2007, I have remained connected and love that this amazing program is still thriving after all these years. This great program helps students in Seattle area low-income housing communities reach their dreams. I have seen firsthand the great results of YTP: Students increase their grades, stay motivated, and complete high school with plans for college and a promising future. They form strong friendships with volunteer tutors and staff that last far beyond their years with YTP.
This October, YTP is holding its Readathon Fund Drive. During this drive, students compete in fun reading events while YTP supporters raise funds to help the program thrive. Please support me in my efforts to help YTP grow by making a contribution to Readathon!
