I'm in my second year as a tutor with the Youth Tutoring Program (YTP). I've had the great fortune to watch students' abilities grow, and personally watch a student's confidence grow and transform him from a reluctant participant to an interested reader that loves to write his own stories. Many of these students rely on YTP for mentoring outside of school, having parents with limited English language skills and/or time outside of work to help with homework.

This October, YTP is holding its Readathon Fund Drive. During this drive, students compete in fun reading events while YTP supporters raise funds to help the program thrive. Please support me in my efforts to help YTP grow by making a contribution to Readathon!
